Samsara means wandering. As humans, we all find ourselves awash the sea of samsara. Drifting lifetime after lifetime towards the shores of Nirvana, having no concept what it looks like or how far it is. We may be afloat, but we are not safe at sea. Until we can break the chains of our negative karma, we are stuck - adrift in an endless sea of suffering.
